There are 60 licenced racecourses in Great Britain, with a further two in Northern Ireland (Down Royal and Downpatrick). A 61st course, Great Leighs, opened in 2008 but had its licence revoked on 16 January 2009. It may resume racing at a later date. Apart from Great Leighs and Ffos Las (which opened in 2009), all the courses date back to 1927 or earlier. The oldest is Chester Racecourse, which dates to the early 1500s.

Our Company
We work closely with the British Horseracing Authority (BHA) and the Horserace Betting Levy Board to ensure that our racing tips are up to date. We are regulated by the Association of British Bookmakers and Euro Centres.
What is Laying?
The whole Betting Exchange Bookies service relies on the fact that you can bet on a horse to lose its race (laying) rather than betting on it to win (backing).
Laying a horse gives you a great advantage over backing a horse which is summed up in a simple statement.
"We want 1 horse to lose which means all the
other horses are running for us, NOT against us."
It's like placing 1 bet on a race with 10 horses in it and having 9 chances of winning that bet, not just 1. This is laying.
Backing a horse relies on just 1 horse winning which means all the other horses are running against you.
This is a massive advantage and one we exploit to great effect every day
